THERE IS WILDLIFE IN MY PATIO

Nature photography is one way of increasing environmental awareness, both for the photographer and the viewer. Today I post a photo of a praying mantis that I took in my patio last year. I have a series of photographs of wildlife in my patio. They are not technical master pieces as all were taken on the spur of the moment with either ipad or Panasonic compact camera, which ever was closer at hand at the time. The aim of this series is to encourage greater awareness of and admiration for all wildlife large and small, including the places they inhabit. In this case, my patio.
